Welcome to Driftwood Pens. Each of the pens made for the CMHA initiative were made using driftwood that was locally sourced from beaches in Vancouver BC, Canada. Each piece was carefully selected, individually cut to size, shaped, sanded, sealed, and assembled in Coquitlam, BC. I thank you for supporting this endeavor.
Though my senior project is over, the initiative is not. I am continuing to create one of a kind driftwood pens with 5% of the proceeds being donated to the CMHA and The Lorne Fraser Educational Fund. Click here to order your own custom pen today.
Driftwood is defined as wood that has been washed onto a shore or beach of a sea, lake, or river by the action of winds, tides or waves.
In some waterfront areas, driftwood is a major nuisance. However, the benefits that driftwood provides as shelter and food for birds, fish and other aquatic species as it floats in the ocean and again once it lands on shore, far outweighs its negative perception. It’s time we started looking at driftwood differently.

Thanks Dennis I appreciate your support. There are still a few to select from but I would recommend either the ursula or the georgia. Let me know and I will put a sold sticker on it. Thank you again.
Regards,
Trevor

Dennis,
I made an executive decision and set aside the georgia. The ursula is claimed.
